Only A Couple Of Places Left For Our ‘Britain For Events’ Lunch!

Posted on Updated on

We’re still 6 weeks away from our ‘Britain for Events’ lunch being held on Friday 19th June and we only have a couple of places left!

Our June lunch is being held at the incredibly modern and stylish British restaurant and cocktail bar Chiswell Street Dining Rooms in the heart of the City. Chiswell Street pride themselves on providing the best of new and old-fashioned British cooking and we’ll be in one of the five private dining rooms they offer for events.

We’re delighted to announce that Alistair Turner, PR Director of Davies Tanner and the Britain for Events campaign will be joining us to chat about the BVEP initiative.

Britain for Events is the promotional campaign for the UK Events Industry. An annual campaign designed to promote the value of event tourism, engage and promote the British economy and, celebrate the creativity of those organisations within it.

Their aim – to encourage event organisers around the world to buy British!

Last year the Britain for Events campaign focussed it’s support and activity around three key events. They included the International Festival for Business (IFB) in July, the launch of National Events Month in October and continued support for the All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) events inquiry.

We’ll be holding our lunch one month one from the general election so it’ll be interesting to hear from Alistair, whether or not we have a new government in place, what the plans are to support the industry this year and what we can do as Event Organisers to spread the word and support the campaign.

We’ve only a couple of places left so if you’d like to join the conversation and make some great connections email us at
