Following on from the fantastic interest in our ‘Women in Events’ lunch in April (which is now fully booked), our ‘Using Technology in Events’ lunch in being held at the incredibly stylish Searcys St Pancras Grand on the 15th May 2015.
We’re delighted to announce that we’ll be joined on the day by Chris Elmitt, Managing Director of Crystal Interactive, the audience engagement specialists who also have a fantastic event tech blog which you can visit here.
Technology is changing how we socialise, communicate and consume. We’ll be having a chat around the table about how this is now impacting how we organise and attend events and what we can expect for the future.
Some of the things we’ll be discussing include:
1. What is event technology? – Event technology can be as broad or narrow as we choose to define it, we could just focus on event apps or think more broadly about all technology in events.
2. Perception vs Reality? – We’ll be exploring the differences between what guests expected from their event technology and what they got?
3. What makes event technology unique? – We’ll be exploring the things that make technology in events unique compared with technology in other situations.
4. Technology’s role in events – We’ll explore why we have technology in events and what we hope to achieve.
Our venue in May is the stunning Searcy’s St Pancras Grand within the regenerated St Pancras International station, a firm favourite with many diners and we will be in their Private Dining Room. Created by respected designer Martin Brudnizki and situated opposite the Searcys Champagne Bar on the Grand Terrace, this unique London restaurant’s menu combines old favourites with modern classics using local ingredients.
Places are filling fast for our May lunch and if you would like to join the conversation and create some great connections you can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
